Fiona Byrne is a seasoned professional in research and development engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research And Development Engineer at Veryan Medical since December 2023. Prior to this role, Fiona held the position of Senior Product Development Engineer at phenox from May 2021 to November 2023, and worked as an R&D Engineer at Surmodics from July 2018 to May 2021, as well as at Creganna Medical from June 2015 to June 2018. Fiona also contributed to the Creganna Medical design team in a Design Services capacity in early 2014. Earlier experience includes roles as a Waitress at Sheraton Athlone Hotel and a Student CAD Designer with M+W Group UK Region, where responsibilities involved reviewing technical drawings and facilitating travel arrangements. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Science in Product Design and Technology from the University of Limerick, completed in 2015.
