Jacob Midtgaard has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and project management. Jacob started their career as an ASIC Designer at Oticon A/S in 1996, where they worked until 1997. Jacob then joined Nokia as an ASIC Chief from 1998 to 2002. At Zensys A/S, they worked as an ASIC Manager from 2002 to 2008, leading the establishment and management of the ASIC development group. Subsequently, they worked at Oticon A/S as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2010, primarily focusing on low power integrated wireless technology projects. At Analog Devices, they served as an Engineering Manager for four years and was responsible for managing ASIC design activities for various audio products. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Knowles Electronics Denmark ApS as an Engineering Manager, leading a team of design engineers in the development of analog/mixed signal ASICs for microphones. Jacob then joined Widex from 2015 to 2019, where they worked as a Project Manager, focusing on hearing aid technology platform projects. Currently, they are employed at Oticon as a Senior Project Manager since 2019, leading a hearing aid chipset platform project with a team of 60 engineers. Jacob Midtgaard earned a Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuits from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to their Ph.D., they obtained a M.Sc.E.E. degree in Electronics from the same institution, where they enrolled from 1987 to 1993. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jacob also holds certifications as a Certified SAFe® 4 Release Train Engineer from Scaled Agile Inc, which they obtained in October 2018, and as a Certified SAFe® 4 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in July 2018.
