Joseph Murrey has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. In 2015, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas Industrial Engineering Department, where they studied the development of simulations in Java and creating visualizations of simulations using JavaFX. Joseph also contributed to the database management of an application used for inventory management and mentored incoming research assistants. In 2016, they worked as a Modeling and Simulation Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they created an application used by their administrative team for viewing and manipulating networks of servers and presented their progress to the team on a weekly basis. From 2017-2019, they worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they established a firm role for himself as a web application developer. From styling pages and creating data visualizations to writing back-end APIs and managing databases, they were able to broaden their knowledge as a developer and expose himself to a range of technologies. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer at Phase Change Software LLC.
Joseph Murrey received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2016.
