Mario George is currently the HR Manager at Pharos Solutions. Prior to this, they were with eSpace as an HR Senior Specialist from March 2019 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for growing eSpace talent by establishing partnerships with relevant sources, building local networks and connections, creating test centers and maintaining recruitment process integrity and quality. Additionally, they designed, implemented and improved New-Hires on-boarding programs regularly.
Other key responsibilities included managing the performance evaluation system; identifying performance gaps and presenting solutions accordingly. Mario also heard and resolved employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. To ensure legal compliance, they monitored and implemented applicable human resource local laws; conducted investigations; maintained records; and represented eSpace in governmental entities.
In addition to the above, Mario George also maintained management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Mario analyzed and generated reports of different statistics such as attendance attrition and provided recommendations and advice to management on solutions, appropriate interventions, workplace improvements and best practices. Mario also ensured that the eSpace workplace was running efficiently by collaborating with and guiding Executive Assistant and/or HR Staff. Finally, they maintained a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Mario George has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Mario also has an IGCSE Certificate in English, Chemistry, Math, Biology, Physics, IT, Bussiness Studies, Accounting from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. In addition, they have certification from SHRM in SHRM Essentials of HR Management and from Ain Shams University in Professional Certificate of “Recruitment and Placement Management” and Professional Certificate of “Human Resources Management”. Lastly, they have SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
