Kalvin Brown is a seasoned pharmacist and owner of Kalvin Brown Pharmasave, where a primary focus includes collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans as a neuropharmacologist for clients with complex co-morbidities since July 2012. In addition, Kalvin has been actively involved in the Assessing and Prescribing for Minor Ailments program with the Canadian Pharmacists Association and the Ontario Pharmacists Association since February 2017. Kalvin has contributed to pharmacy education as a lecturer at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine from January 2014 to January 2016, and has served as a preceptor for the SPT Structured Practical Training program since May 2011. Other roles include immunization certification for flu vaccines under the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and a continuous commitment to pharmacy education through courses on laboratory test management. Kalvin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan, earned between 1980 and 1989.
