Philip Schaffalitzky de Muckadell has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of Global Medical Affairs at Pharmacosmos since May 2016, where Philip also holds the position of International Medical Director for Human Iron. Prior roles include Medical Manager and Product Manager in Oncology at Roche, and Product Manager and Sales Representative in Oncology and Hematology at GlaxoSmithKline. Philip also worked as a Sales Representative in Oncology and Neurology at Ipsen and served as an International Medical Safety Expert at Nycomed. Philip began their career as a Student Assistant at Novo Nordisk A/S. Academic credentials include a cand.med.vet degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and further studies at Copenhagen Business School.
