Silviu Stroie has extensive experience in the esports and gaming sectors, currently serving as the CEO of PGL since September 1998. Stroie previously held significant leadership roles, including President of the International Esports Federation from November 2009 to April 2019 and President of Liga Gamerilor Profesionisti from February 2002 to April 2019. Early in the career, Stroie was the Editor in Chief at Computer Games Magazine from January 1995 to August 1998 and at Ramtop Magazine from January 1993 to December 1994, along with serving as an Editor at HobBIT from January 1991 to December 1992.
