Ofelia Polanco, MBA, is currently a Senior Analyst at PGIM, where responsibilities include enhancing processes and training junior team members within the Confirmation/Settlement team. Previously, Ofelia held the role of Operations Risk Analyst, focusing on mitigating high-risk issues and performing operational risk checks. Ofelia's career at PGIM began in the Corporate Action group, where important contributions included developing an internal database for improved accuracy and accountability. Ofelia was selected for the competitive Fixed Income Rotational Program after applying successfully against a large pool of candidates. Prior to PGIM, Ofelia worked as an Asset Services Associate at Pershing following a successful internship. Ofelia holds an MBA in Management/Risk Management from Saint Peter's University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New Jersey City University.
