Matthew Weiss has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew started their career as an intern at Foothold Technology and The New Yorker in 2012, where they gained experience in technology and research. In 2013, they interned at New York Life Insurance Company as a corporate intern and later joined The Omerta Group as a research intern. In 2014, they worked as an actuarial intern at New York Life Insurance Company. Matthew then joined Prudential Financial in 2015 as an Associate Actuary, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are employed as a Vice President at PGIM Fixed Income, starting in July 2018.

Matthew Weiss attended Vassar College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Northampton High School. Matthew also obtained additional certifications, including a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2022, and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) certification from the Society of Actuaries in 2019.
