Gavin Kirkman is the current CEO of the PGA of Australia. Gavin has held this position since April 2011. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager of RACV Royal Pines Resort from March 2007 to April 2011. In this role, they were responsible for resort and golf management, as well as major events. From January 2007 to December 2011, Gavin was also the Senior Manager of Golf, Sport, and Leisure for RACV.

Before their time at RACV, Gavin Kirkman served as the Senior Executive Officer for the Queensland Division of the PGA of Australia from August 2001 to March 2007. In this role, they were responsible for managing the division and growing the game of golf in Queensland. Prior to this, they were the General Manager of ClubCorp Lakelands Golf Club from October 1996 to August 2002. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club.

Gavin Kirkman attended Boonah Queensland and Boonah High School.
