Sonam Topgyal is an Associate Scientist at Pfizer since December 2022, demonstrating a strong background in biomedical and medical engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester. Prior experience includes serving as a Laboratory Microbiologist at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from July 2020 to November 2022, where responsibilities involved preparing reagents and conducting various laboratory tests, as well as operating specialized instruments and ensuring quality control. Sonam has been a Member of The Opportunity Network since August 2013, participating in a career development program for high-achieving students. Additional roles include teaching assistant for a Biosystems and Circuits course and research assistant at the American Museum of Natural History. Experience also includes counseling for elementary school students at Maspeth Town Hall Inc.
