Max Russo

Senior Scientist at Pfizer

Max Russo, PhD, is currently a Senior Scientist at Pfizer since January 2023, specializing in Functional Genomics within Cellular, Genomics, and Protein Sciences for Medicine Design. Prior to this role, Max Russo served as Scientist II at MOMA Therapeutics, focusing on Functional Genomics and Program Assay Development from July 2021 to January 2023. Max Russo's research experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where assessments of RNF43 659fs in MSI-H colorectal cancer and CRISPR/Cas9 editing of patient-derived colonic organoids were conducted, as well as affiliations with Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute. Max Russo obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida, where research concentrated on the impact of environmental agents on neurological disorders, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Economics from Dickinson College.
