Mark McCord-Amasis has extensive experience in real estate and facilities management. Mark currently serves as the Vice President of Portfolio Optimization & Design at Pfizer, where they are responsible for aligning real estate assets with market changes and achieving cost savings. Prior to their role at Pfizer, Mark held various leadership positions at Seagen and GSK, where they oversaw real estate and facilities operations for the company's research and development businesses. With over 30 years of experience, Mark has a strong background in strategic planning, workplace design, and sustainability. Mark has managed real estate portfolios ranging from 52 million sqft to 60 million sqft, and has expertise in capital investment planning and facility strategy. Mark also has a scientific background, having worked on the discovery and development of new chemical entities earlier in their career.
Mark McCord-Amasis received their BSc in Biochemistry from Philadelphia University in 1990. Mark later obtained an M.B.A. in Strategic Planning from the University of Phoenix in 2003. Currently, they are pursuing a MSci in Operations Management Science as a candidate at Temple University, beginning their studies in 2006.
