Chase Salazar is a Senior Scientist in Process Chemistry at Pfizer since March 2021, following a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where research was conducted in the Stahl Group from November 2015 to March 2021. Prior experience includes an internship as a Research Chemist at Bend Research in 2014, focusing on product formulation under Dr. Jon Cape, and undergraduate research in the Tyler Group at the University of Oregon, where significant contributions involved developing a safer synthesis route for phosphine ligands. Salazar holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, earned in 2015.
