Previous experience includes significant roles at Amazon as an Engineering Leader in Personalization, leading the ML-driven shopping experiences, and at Jet as the Head of Data Platforms and Engineering. Additionally, Bilal held positions in various leadership capacities, including Director of Engineering at Technology Consulting, Head of Data Services at Sculptor Capital Management, and Architect at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, with contributions to enterprise data management strategies and performance tuning. Bilal has a solid foundation in engineering management, governance, risk management, and operational excellence, supported by a BS in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
