Atul Goyal is a Senior Scientist at Pfizer, specializing in the purification process development for a polysaccharide vaccine targeting Streptococcus pneumoniae since September 2022. Prior to this role, Atul served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2017 to August 2022, where involvement in various projects related to therapeutic monoclonal antibodies enhanced technical skills. Earlier experiences include summer internships at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta, focusing on biomolecule expression and the advancement of NMR thermometry, respectively, as well as a Bachelor Thesis at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, that explored composite structures with embedded sensors. Atul also completed an internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), working with NMR technology to characterize organic matrix composites. Education includes a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Houston and a combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
