Megan Chabalowski

Manager, Community, Partnerships at The Pew Charitable Trusts

Megan Chabalowski currently serves as the Manager of Community Partnerships at The Pew Charitable Trusts since January 2024. Prior to this role, Megan held various positions at the United States Institute of Peace from October 2012 to January 2024, including Senior Outreach Officer in Public Engagement, Interim Director of Public Education, and Education Program Specialist. During this time, responsibilities included managing educational programs, setting quarterly goals, and supporting Congressional funding efforts. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Program Specialist in Intergovernmental Affairs, Research Assistant in Post-Conflict Peace and Stability Operations, and a Substitute Teacher with DC Public Schools. Megan began their career as a Labor Organizer with UNITE HERE and as an English Teacher in various international contexts. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Critical Social Thought from Mount Holyoke College.
