Yuqi Wang began their professional career in 2015 as an Android Developer Intern at hundsun, where they developed a fund trading android application, designed an Oracle Database structure, and used SQL and Junit test to elevate the viability of the product. In 2016, they joined Rakuten as a Software Engineer, where they designed a contact book based on PHP Yii framework, monitored and supported the PHP-side server of Rakuten main website, and prepared shell scripts for automatically releasing new version of applications. Since 2017, Yuqi has been working at Petuum, Inc. as a Software Engineer, and at Carnegie Mellon University - H. John Heinz III College as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Distributed Systems, where they improved the project assignments and lab experience by giving advices and feedbacks, held office and lab hours to help students, and did short introduction/ explanation for students to fix bugs.

Yuqi Wang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Shanghai University in 2015. Prior to that, they studied at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, where they earned a Master's degree in Master of Information Systems Management in 2017. In 2016, they also obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates.
