Jaganath Seeram Maharaj has extensive work experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Jaganath worked at Petrotrin from 1979 to 2013, where they held various roles including Head HSE Corporate and Project Lead. In their role as Head HSE Corporate, they managed the Occupational Health and Safety for over 1900 employees and handled activities such as environmental clearances and water permitting certification. Jaganath also worked as a Lecturer at the School of Business and Computer Science from 2008 to 2014, where they prepared and conducted lectures for classes of around fifty students.
Jaganath Seeram Maharaj began their education in 1990, attending the University of the West Indies, where they obtained a certification as a Quality Engineer. This program focused on Quality Assurance and Quality Control. In 2002, Maharaj joined Henley Business School, where they enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program. During their time at Henley, they also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, focusing on Project Management and Strategic Management with Business Transformation. Maharaj remained at Henley Business School until 2007. In 2006, they furthered their education by attending the University of Greenwich, earning a Master of Science (M.S.c) in Occupational Health Safety & Environment. Jaganath'sstudies at Greenwich focused on Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene, as well as Risk Assessment.
