Dan Herstad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety and logistics management. Currently serving as Seniorrådgiver Logistikk og Beredskap at Havtil - Havindustritilsynet since August 2021, Dan has previously held roles including Avdelingsleder HMS at Forsvarsbygg and HMS&K Leder at KAEFER Energy AS. Prior positions include Sikkerhetsleder at Rowan Companies and HMS-koordinator at Saipem, as well as a significant tenure as Politibetjent with Politiet – Politiet.no. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Risiko- og sikkerhetsledelse from the University of Stavanger and a Bachelor’s degree from Politihøgskolen.
