Anton Wolmarans is a seasoned professional in mineral resource management with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Technical Services & Assurance Manager and previously as Mineral Resource Manager at Petra Diamonds since August 2014, Anton has a proven track record in overseeing mineral resource functions. Prior to this, Anton held the position of Senior Manager - Mineral Resource Management at DBCM - Venetia Mine from May 2012 to July 2014 and spent over a decade at De Beers in various roles, including Resource Development Manager, Principal Geophysicist, and Senior Geophysicist. Anton's career began at Anglo American Corporation as Staff Geophysicist, focusing on gold and base metal exploration in West Africa. Anton holds a B.Sc. Hons. in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1990 and 1994.
