George Zhou has extensive experience in software development and technical instruction, currently serving as a Software Architect at PetPartners, Inc. since April 2018, where previous roles included Senior Software Developer, .NET Developer, and Software Development Team Lead. Prior to PetPartners, George Zhou worked as a Software Engineer at Relias and spent several years in the US Navy, where contributions included improving curriculum delivery for apprentice level electronics training, leading to significant cost savings and enhanced training outcomes. George Zhou also held instructional and supervisory roles, achieving high performance ratings and ensuring operational readiness of critical systems aboard naval vessels. George Zhou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College.
