Arabella Turek has diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at UCL Cancer Institute. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Lab Member at UCL's Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. In 2016, Arabella joined The Cambian Group as a Finance Associate. Arabella then moved on to work at Nesta in 2018 as a Digital Health Public Engagement & Policy Analyst, where they produced detailed notes from a public dialogue event. Additionally, Arabella served as a Junior Researcher at BBC Future and was a Project Manager at UCL from December 2017 to September 2018. Arabella also worked with C40 Cities as a Women4Climate Programme Member starting in April 2018. Currently, they are involved with the UK Research and Innovation as an Expert Assessor for the Future Leaders Fellowship Scheme since August 2020. Furthermore, they have held the role of COO at Petit Pli since September 2017.
Arabella Turek attended Latymer Upper School, where they completed their A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, History of Art, Polish, and Maths. Arabella then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences and Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, Arabella continued their education at UCL, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Science, Technology, and Society from 2017 to 2018.
