Nancy Carney has extensive experience in emergency medical services and fire safety education. Currently serving as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) at the Peterborough Fire and Rescue Department and as a Staff Instructor at the NH Fire & EMS Academy, Nancy has also been the Owner and Trainer at Zodiac Safety Services and Training since 2002, providing various safety training programs. Since 2019, Nancy has also coordinated the Fire Science Program at Cheshire Career Center and served as an AEMT at Winchester Ambulance. Previous roles include Fire and EMT Instructor at Conval Regional High School and firefighter positions at Deering NH Fire Department and Fitzwilliam Fire Department, where Nancy also held the Assistant Fire Chief title. Academic achievements include an Associate of Science in Fire Protection and Safety from North Shore Community College, a Master of Human Services from Keene State College, and a Bachelor of Music Education from the same institution.
