Anastasia Simmons is a highly experienced Senior Clinical Research Nurse currently working at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since June 2022. In addition, Anastasia serves as a Sessional Academic and Nursing Tutor at Federation University Australia since September 2019. Previously, Anastasia held the position of Clinical Research Nurse at the University of Melbourne from January 2021 to June 2022 and worked as a Project Manager and Senior Clinical Research Nurse in Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery at Epworth from October 2018 to January 2021. Anastasia has also contributed as a Research Assistant at the National Ageing Research Institute and served as a Registered Nurse at St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne for several years. Educationally, Anastasia holds an Honours Degree in Science from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Nursing from La Trobe University.
