Prior to his retirement, Stuart R. Suter served as Vice President and Patent Counsel for SmithKline Beecham Corporation (now GlaxoSmithKline Corporation) of Philadelphia where he was employed for over 27 years. He is an active member of Ambler Church of the Brethren and has served as the Chairman of the Board of Administration, a member of the Finance Committee, a member of the Personnel and Nominating Committee, and as church Moderator. He also served on the Community Home Services Board. He received his B.A. from Bridgewater College; his M.S. from the University of Michigan; his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia; and his J.D. from Temple University. He has served on the Board of Directors of PBC for twelve years total and previously as the Chairman for five years.
