Philip Saoud began their work experience in 1980 as an Associate at Albert Kahn Associates, where they worked until 1995. In 1995, they joined Peter Basso Associates as Vice President, a role they still hold. In 2009, Saoud took on the role of Central Chapter President at the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) until 2011.
Philip Saoud obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Prior to that, they attended Detroit Henry Ford High School from 1973 to 1976. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from the BCCB in July 2016 and the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in October 1985.
