Benjamin Thiele-Long is a seasoned professional in communications and ESG leadership, currently serving as the Chief ESG and Communications Officer at Petco since March 2022. Previous roles include Vice President of Corporate Communications & Diversity Community Management and Director of Executive and Business Communications at Petco, as well as Managing Director of Financial Communications at Ketchum. With extensive experience in strategic communications, Benjamin has held various senior positions in well-regarded firms such as Cognito and Infinite Global, focusing on crisis management, media campaigns, and reputation management. Earlier in the career, Benjamin practiced as a barrister with a focus on regulatory law, providing strategic advice and crisis support to clients in highly regulated industries. Benjamin holds a BA in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from Royal Holloway, University of London, along with several legal qualifications from the College of Law.
