David Zhang has worked as a RoR back-end developer at Petal since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Full Stack Developer at Dreeven Technologies Inc from March 2019 to November 2020. In this role, they were involved in developing a construction project management application using various technologies such as Vuejs, Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS3, and PostgreSQL. David contributed to building new application components, updating/fixing existing ones, adding new features and logic, and creating/updating the Web API. David also worked on the server side and handled data transfer between the web app and the database.

David Zhang is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Informatique et génie logiciel from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they completed a DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) in Technique Informatique from Cegep du Vieux Montreal, spanning from 2015 to 2018.
