Alison Johnson is an experienced independent business owner and blogger, focusing on pet care and natural health alternatives through Tailz and Scales since January 2020. In addition to this venture, Alison serves as a sales specialist at Pet Planet Health and has been a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils since February 2009, providing education on the use of essential oils for well-being. Previously, Alison owned Balanced Pathways Consulting, offering individualized consulting for caregivers of dependent adults. Earlier roles include client service coordinator for the Government of Alberta, working with adults with developmental disabilities, and as a mental health advocate with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Alberta and graduated from the Alberta High School of Fine Arts.
