Sam Eyres has worked in a variety of roles in the livestock industry since 1994. Sam started their career as a Livestock Coordinator at Aronui Feedlot for AACo in 1994. Sam then moved to Colonial Meats in 1996 as an Export General Manager. In 1997, they took on a role as an Export Trader at Weddel Swift Ltd. Sam then joined Castricum Brothers in 1998 as an Export Manager. In 2008, they became the Southern Region Livestock Manager at Australian Rural Exports Pty Ltd (AUSTREX). In 2011, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at Injekta Group. In 2017, they became the General Manager at Metos ANZ Pty Ltd for Pessl Instruments GmbH. Sam is also the Founder and Director of Madison River Pty Ltd, a role they have held since 2002.
Sam Eyres attended Marcus Oldham College from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Agribusiness Management.
