Samir Bitar is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in leadership, customer experience strategy, and community engagement. As the Founder of Persona Tax and Journey Mapping, Samir specializes in customer experience innovations for cultural institutions. Current roles include Chair of the Planning and Land Use Committee and Treasurer for the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council, as well as Chairman of the Board for Dance Loft on 14. Samir's political aspirations include a candidacy for Los Angeles City Council in 2024, emphasizing a commitment to arts advocacy and community service. Previous experience includes strategic roles at H&R Block, Wrightwood 659, and the Smithsonian Institution, where Samir directed visitor experience initiatives. Samir holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and has completed a Tax Preparer program at H&R Block Academy.
