Bart Van Mierlo is an experienced professional in underwater archeology and hydrographic consultancy. As Managing Director of Periplus Archeomare BV since October 2004, Bart has led services in underwater archaeological consultancy, inspection, and excavation. Additionally, Bart has provided consultancy for the oil and gas industry and governmental organizations on hydrographic surveys and construction. Prior roles include Director and General Manager at Dutch Onshore and Offshore Recruitment (DOOR) from 2000 to 2004 and 1998 to 2004, respectively, and Senior Geophysicist at Seateam from 1996 to 1998. Bart holds a Drs. degree in Geology from Utrecht University, earned between 1983 and 1990.
