Walter Freitag currently serves as the Head of Customer Service Management at PERI Formwork Scaffolding Engineering (Pty) Ltd since July 2023, while also holding the position of Head of Formwork at PERI since September 2016. Walter has extensive experience in construction management, having previously worked as a Construction Manager for CEC on the Merdeka Underground Railway Station project in Kuala Lumpur and for ACCIONA on various infrastructure projects. Other roles include Senior Construction Manager positions with UCC in Qatar and Acciona in Hong Kong, as well as significant projects in the UAE and Dubai. Walter's career began with Ed. Züblin AG, where responsibilities included site engineering and supervision on major projects in multiple countries. Walter holds a Master Craftsman Diploma in Reinforced Concrete from the Master Craftsman School in Aachen.
