Ramona Serban-Kalu, PhD, is a Data Scientist at PerformRx since November 2022, with a robust background in data analysis and statistical modeling. Previously, Ramona served as a Data Science Consultant at Diamond Acre Software, focusing on building and tuning statistical models using Python and R. At AmeriHealth Caritas, from December 2015 to June 2019, Ramona analyzed data related to re-admissions, clinical outcomes, and health disparities, while also modeling geographic access to care. Ramona has held research positions at The University of Texas at San Antonio as a Graduate Research Assistant and has contributed to various research projects at UTHSCSA, IUPUI, and ArlenGroup. With a PhD in Demography and Population Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio, Ramona is well-equipped in statistical analyses and health-related data studies, complementing a foundational education in Economics and Economic Cybernetics.
