Mr. Cesarz is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients regarding capital structure, liability management, restructuring and distressed M&A solutions.
Mr. Cesarz has over 20 years of investment banking experience assisting clients in a wide range of matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Alta Mesa Resources on its chapter 11 reorganization, Nine Point Energy on its chapter 11 reorganization, Concordia International on its CBCA balance sheet restructuring, Sprint Industrial on liability management alternatives, the independent directors of iHeart Media in connection with its chapter 11 reorganization, the Unsecured Noteholders of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, the First Lien Term Loan Lenders of Drive DeVilbiss, the Unsecured Noteholders of Chaparral Energy, the Unsecured Creditors Committee of Bristow Group, the Senior Secured Noteholders of Jack Cooper Enterprises and the Senior Secured Noteholders of Remington Outdoor Company.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in September 2016, Mr. Cesarz was a Managing Director at Miller Buckfire & Co. where he worked from March of 2007 to June 2016, focused on capital structure, liability management, restructuring and distressed M&A transactions for a variety of clients, including Calpine Corporation, Dura Automotive, Reader’s Digest, Alaska Electric Light & Power, Broder Bros., Oncor Electric Delivery Company, Stallion Oilfield Services and Ultrapetrol, among others. Prior to joining Miller Buckfire & Co., Mr. Cesarz worked at Chanin Capital Partners and began his career at Banc of America Securities.
Mr. Cesarz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, magna cum laude, from Fordham University and currently serves on the Fordham University President’s Council.
