Dr. Katalin Kovacs

Director of Global Development at Peregrine Academic Services

Dr. Katalin Kovacs has worked at a variety of companies since 2006. Dr. Katalin began their career at CEU Business School as the Admissions/Residence Life Manager. In 2009, they moved to Maastricht School of Management, where they held various roles, including Dean a.i./Associate Dean Global Education Programs, Associate Dean for Quality Assurance and Services/Director Global Education Programs MEUSE Institute, Manager Quality Control and Accreditations, and Manager of Program Development and Assistant to the Board of Directors. In 2012, they joined IACBE as a Member of the Board of Commissioners, eventually becoming Chair of the Board of Commissioners and Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners. In 2015, they became the Founding President of Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA). In 2019, they joined Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) as a Member of the Board of Commissioners Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree and London South Bank University as Head of Global Partnerships. In 2021, they took on roles as a QAA IQR Reviewer for The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and an AAQ Expert Reviewer for AAQ - Swiss Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assurance. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Peregrine Global Services as Director of Global Development and Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa Operations, as well as AACSB as a European Advisory Council Member.

Dr. Katalin Kovacs is currently pursuing a Doctor degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath. In 2013, they obtained a Senior Executive Certificate in Leadership in Higher Education from Oxford Academy for Education and Development (OAED). From 2002 to 2004, they obtained a Masters in Public Administration/Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University. From 1999 to 2002, they obtained a BSc in History and Political Science from Jacksonville State University. From 1997 to 1999, they studied American Studies at Szegedi Tudományegyetem.
