Sveta Smirnova has extensive experience in technical support and engineering, primarily focused on MySQL and its derivatives. Since March 2015, Sveta has held the position of Principal Support Engineering Coordinator at Percona, leveraging expertise in problem analysis and debugging related to MySQL. Prior to this, Sveta worked at Oracle from January 2011 to March 2015 as a Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer, managing shared hardware and participating in bug priority systems. Additionally, Sveta spent time at Sun Microsystems and MySQL AB as a Senior Support Engineer, where responsibilities included bug verification and customer support. Sveta also owns microbecal, a registered self-employment venture that has been inactive since May 2006.
