Anup Kumar Gupta is a seasoned database performance engineer currently positioned at Percona since January 2025. Prior to this role, Anup served as a principal support engineer at EDB from April 2023 to January 2025 and as a senior database administrator at Ericsson from July 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included various database management activities. Anup’s earlier experience includes working as a PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL DBA at HCL Technologies from July 2019 to July 2021 and as a PostgreSQL/MySQL DBA at Tata Consultancy Services from September 2012 to July 2019, where Anup was involved in implementing database setups and migrating systems from commercial databases to open-source alternatives. Anup holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Allahabad University, completed in 2012.
