Marc Katzschner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Marc is currently working as the Vice President of Marketing at Perch Mobility, Inc, where they are involved in building the charging network for micromobility. Prior to this, they worked at TechSoup as the Creative Director, leading and managing the creative team responsible for improving the organization's applications, web presence, and marketing materials. Marc also served as a User Experience (UX) and Interface Design Consultant at TechSoup.

Before TechSoup, Marc was self-employed, providing their expertise as a User Experience Designer/Creative Director to startup companies and nonprofits. Marc advised these organizations in developing brand guidelines, design systems, and customer experience strategies.

Earlier in their career, Marc worked as the President and Creative Director at The Shotwell Company, where they provided leadership and creative direction to a global team of designers and developers. Marc was responsible for UX, UI, and design of various digital platforms for the company's clients. Additionally, they acted as the principal client relationship builder and business development lead.

Marc Katzschner's work experience also includes founding and leading their own company, Some Pulp, LLC, where they directed web and digital media projects for clients from diverse industries. Marc worked with clients such as Cure Autism Now Foundation, Memorial Care Medical Centers, and Americans for Peace Now, among others.

Furthermore, they served as the Director of Interactive Communications at Cure Autism Now Foundation, where they built their widely recognized website and managed diverse content contributors. Marc also worked as the Creative Director at Neighborplace.com and the Director of New Media at Generation IX Technologies. In the early stages of their career, Marc worked as the Communications Research Manager at CommSciences, Inc., where they wrote market research reports for various clients.

Marc Katzschner attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a BA degree in Mass Communications and Sociology. Marc later enrolled in the Ph.D. Program at the University of Southern California from 1994 to 1996, specializing in Communication Theory and Research, but did not complete the degree. Prior to their time at the universities, Marc studied at the Oberstufenzentrum Handel 1 in Berlin from 1988 to 1989, earning the degree of Werbekaufmann (Advertising Businessman). Before that, they completed their Abitur at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, Germany, finishing in 1987.
