Joel Camacho is an experienced software developer currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Developer at Peraton since August 2020. With a diverse background in software development, Joel has also worked as a Substitute Instructor in Full-Stack Software Development Bootcamps at both 2U and Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. Prior to these roles, Joel was a Software Developer at Northrop Grumman, where the implementation of an enterprise web-based system for processing disability claims was a significant achievement. Additional experience includes freelance development with a focus on agile methodologies and a range of positions in sales and project management, demonstrating a versatile professional profile. Joel is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Maryland, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fordham University and completed training at Hack Reactor.
