Jimmy W. Boan is an experienced technology and network engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Ciena since June 2022. Jimmy has extensive military experience, having served in multiple positions such as Chief Technology Officer at G-39 335th SC (T), USAR, and Deputy Cyber Director at the Army Cyber Center of Excellence, where Jimmy directed significant cyber initiatives and developed strategic plans. With a background in network operations and cyber security, Jimmy has worked for prestigious organizations like NORAD and the Georgia Army National Guard, overseeing large teams and substantial budgets, while also possessing a solid educational foundation that includes a Master's degree in Information Management Technology from Webster University and specialized training in Cyber Operations Warfare.
