Calvin Armstrong is a skilled technical associate at Discovery Partners Institute since August 2024, responsible for maintaining and updating the DPI Workforce Education website and overseeing student programs. With extensive experience as a tenured section cellist for Peoria Symphony Orchestra since November 2019, Calvin performs regularly in concerts. Previously, as a full-stack web development trainee at Discovery Partners Institute, projects included developing an inventory management app and enhancing functionalities of established platforms. Experience as a high-dosage literacy tutor at Chicago Public Schools involved creating educational materials and supporting K-2 students' literacy skills. Calvin also served as an ensemble librarian at Roosevelt University and worked as a real estate photographer at Vis-Home, where skills in customer service and project management were honed. Calvin holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from Roosevelt University and dual Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from Lawrence University.
