Amanda Fenton is a highly skilled freelance violinist with extensive experience in various musical settings since May 2007. Fenton has performed with notable acts such as Josh Groban and Il Volo in the Chicago Theatre, and has showcased talent at weddings, receptions, and solo and chamber music recitals. Currently, Fenton maintains a private lesson studio with 35 violin and viola students and holds certification as a Suzuki Violin Teacher. Fenton's orchestral contributions include positions as a section violinist with the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra and the Bach Cantata Vespers Series Orchestra, as well as substitute section violinist for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Fenton has served as faculty at OPUS Chamber Music Camp and previously at The School of Performing Arts, and has academic credentials including a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from Augustana College.
