Stephen Barch serves as a police chaplain for the Peoria Police Department since March 2019 and holds multiple pastoral roles, including Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church since January 2014 and Minister of Visitation at First Federated Church since September 2013, focusing on members who are hospitalized or homebound. Additionally, Stephen Barch has been the Pastor at Union Church UCC since May 2008. Academic achievements include a Master of Divinity in Theology/Theological Studies from Mount St. Mary's University (1989-1993) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Mary University in Winona, Minnesota (1985-1989).
