Kailee Clipp, MS, NBC-HWC, CWP, CLC, FNC, CTTS has a diverse work experience in the field of health and wellness. Kailee started their career as a Food and Nutrition Intern at Giant Eagle, Inc. in 2013. Kailee then interned as a Nutritional Guidance Intern at UpTown Fitness in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, they completed a Dietetic Internship at Adagio Health, where they gained practical experience in various areas of nutrition.
After their internship, Kailee worked as a Nutritionist II at Pender County Health Department from 2015 to 2018, where they focused on nutrition education and intervention. In 2018, they joined PeopleOne Health as a Wellness Coach & Coordinator, providing holistic wellness coaching to individuals. Kailee was later promoted to Senior Health Coach & Coordinator and currently holds the position of Health Coach Manager at PeopleOne Health.
Throughout their career, Kailee has acquired certifications such as NBC-HWC, CWP, CLC, FNC, and CTTS, which reflect their expertise in health and wellness coaching.
Kailee Clipp holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Wellness Coaching from PennWest California, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics with a minor in Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to their academic achievements, Kailee has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. Kailee became a DPP Group Coaching Specialist through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching in August 2022. In April 2020, they earned certifications as a Better Breathers Club Facilitator and as a Freedom From Smoking® Facilitator from the American Lung Association. Kailee also holds the title of Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Group Lifestyle Balance (GLB) Master Trainer, which they received from the University of Pittsburgh in January 2020. Furthermore, they are a Smoking Cessation FreshStart Facilitator certified by the American Cancer Society, a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach from NESTA - National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association, Inc., and a Certified Life Coach accredited by the International Association of Certified Coaches, all achieved in 2019. Kailee also obtained the certifications of Certified Lifestyle & Weight Management Specialist from NESTA in May 2019 and Mental Health First Aid - Adult from the National Council for Behavioral Health in the same month and year. Additionally, Kailee is a Longevity Wellness Specialist certified by the AFPA American Fitness Professionals & Associates since April 2019 and a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist obtained from Duquesne University in October 2018. Kailee also completed the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Group Lifestyle Balance (GLB) Lifestyle Coach certification from the University of Pittsburgh in October 2018. Recently, in April 2021, Kailee became a Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) through the National Wellness Institute, and in June 2021, they became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach accredited by Wellcoaches. In February 2019, they achieved the title of Certified Speed Specialist from the National Association of Speed & Explosion (NASE). Additionally, they hold a ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association, obtained in May 2015. Kailee Clipp is currently pursuing the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) certification from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching.
