Milenka Pecenica has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations.

Milenka began their career in 2011 as a Professor of English at BHM Zenica and then worked as an English Language Teacher at Primary School Praca from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Milenka joined World Vision, where they held multiple positions including Child Protection Officer, Sponsorship Officer, Community Facilitator, and Development Facilitator, until 2019.

Following that, they worked as an Early Childhood Teacher at Sinapse BiH from 2019 to 2020.

Since 2020, Milenka has been associated with People in Need. Milenka started as a Project Officer and then progressed to the role of Project Coordinator.

Currently, Milenka is serving as the Finance and Administration Coordinator at People in Need, and they have recently been promoted as the Deputy Head of Systems and Operations.
