Achim Trasser is an experienced executive with a robust background in operations and management within the valves and controls industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Operations at Pentair Valves & Controls since December 2012, Achim also holds the position of Managing Director at SEMPELL GmbH from July 2000 to present. Previous roles include Vice President and General Manager Global POWER at Tyco Valves & Controls, as well as Managing Director for Central & Eastern Europe, overseeing sales, distribution, service, and operations from September 2006 to December 2012. Achim's career started at Caterpillar Inc. as Operations Manager from January 1997 to June 2000. Achim Trasser earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University between 1986 and 1991.
