Lori Neff Larue

Vice President, Education at The Board of Pensions

Lori Neff LaRue has extensive experience in the education sector. Lori currently serves as the Vice President of Education at The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) since February 2023 and has been the Director of Board University since January 2017. Previously, they worked as the Director of Accreditation Services at The Association of Theological Schools from February 2014 to February 2017. Prior to that, they held various roles at Princeton Theological Seminary, including Dean of Students, Director of Accreditation and Advising, and Associate Director of Field Education. Lori began their career as the Associate Dean of Students at Franklin College from August 1997 to June 2004.

Lori Neff LaRue has a diverse education history. Lori obtained a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, where they attended from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Bowling Green State University, from 1985 to 1987. Lori received their undergraduate education at Manchester University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology between 1981 and 1985.

In addition to their formal degrees, Lori also holds several certifications. In 2013, they completed the Transitional and Interim Ministry Training - Week 1, offered by the Transitional Ministry Education Consortium. Lori became an Ordained Minister of the Word and Sacrament through The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in July 2007. Furthermore, in January 2007, they obtained one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from ACPE: The Standard for Spiritual Care & Education.
