Yvonne Davies, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Yvonne currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Penrhos Bio since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Business Development at Penrhos Bio from November 2021 to June 2023.

Yvonne also has experience as a Director and Co-founder of Sensor Innovations Ltd since June 2012. In this role, they provided scientific consultancy and business development expertise to companies in the Lifescience and chemical sectors. Their responsibilities included fundraising, business planning, growth strategies, and product development. Yvonne also took on various interim executive roles such as CEO, CBO, CTO, and COO.

In 2018, Yvonne founded Yoga Warrior Ltd, where they served as the Founder and Owner until April 2023. This company offered an online workplace health solution that aimed to increase productivity, motivation, and wellness while reducing absenteeism and staff retention issues. They provided data analytics to track the return on investment for workplace health initiatives.

From November 2016 to April 2018, Yvonne served as the CEO of MOFgen Ltd. Prior to this, they held various roles at AccuNostics Ltd, including Business Development Manager from June 2011 to February 2012, and Director, Co-founder, and Company Secretary from May 2008 to June 2011.

Yvonne's earlier work experience includes roles such as Technical Business Development Manager at Thin Film Centre from March 2008 to July 2011, Product Manager and Business Information Manager at Alere Inc. from 2005 to 2007, and Product Development Manager at Curtis Fine Papers Ltd from February 2004 to September 2005.

Yvonne began their career as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology from February 2003 to February 2004.

Yvonne Davies, PhD, has a diverse education history. Yvonne started their academic journey at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with honors in Chemistry with Instrumentation and Information Technology from 1995 to 1999. Yvonne then moved on to the University of Strathclyde, where they obtained their PhD in Pure and Applied Chemistry from 1999 to 2003.

Seeking to expand their knowledge outside of the sciences, Yvonne attended the University of the West of Scotland in 2008, where they focused on IT Project Management and Finance Management. During the same year, they also engaged in a business development program offered by EBD Group & Biotechnology Industry Organization.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Yvonne has also explored interests in yoga and meditation. Yvonne completed Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy programs at Yoga Scotland in 2013-2014 and 2014-2016, respectively. Yvonne further refined their expertise in Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy with Forrest Yoga in 2018. Additionally, they ventured into the realm of Aerial Yoga with Aerial Steps in 2016, and delved into the practice of Transcendental Meditation in 2017 through Transcendental Meditation.

Overall, Yvonne has a strong background in chemistry and instrumentation, with additional knowledge and training in various fields, such as business development, project management, finance, yoga, and meditation.
